    Microchip Implanter Training

     

    The ChipHERO DEFRA-compliant course is well established and has successfully qualified and supported countless implanters. We have various traing locations nationally, along with the option of being trained in your own home.

     

    Our main classroom is located in Epworth, Doncaster where we offer a unique, DEFRA-complaint course, with ongoing support for all our implanters.

    We even provide work experience to those wanting to build confidence.

    Whether you are a breeder, looking to microchip your own litters, or you would like to build a business microchipping for others, our aim is to educate, not to sell microchips or to sign you up to our database. We want to give you the tools to make your own informed decision, that is best suited to your needs.If you do decide to sign up with ChipHERO we can register you the same day and send you home with free chips.

     

    We will provide details of our generous commission and incentives.

     

    Course Structure

     

    The course consists of a theory section and a practical element. Courses are taught in small groups or on a one-to-one basis, in a friendly, relaxed environment. It is important to us that we are able to train in small groups to ensure we go at a pace you’re comfortable with.

    We are here to support your goals and to ensure you leave us feeling confident. Once the course is completed, we are here to offer support and answer questions anytime.Note: If you have any special needs that may require additional support we will happily accommodate them where possible. If you need support with the written portion of the test we can provide someone to work one-on-one with you.

    Cats

    ​

    The course will cover the theory of microchipping for both cats and dogs, however we are only able to provide access to puppies to chip for the practical element on the day. To qualify to microchip cats as well, simply book an appointment to come in with 2 cats that can be microchipped and we will observe you implant them and issue you with your cat qualification. There is no additional charge for this.
